Failed in IDEAS Show

We were invited to present our product in the IDEAS Show on short notice. I had no idea what it was about when I got the message, and somehow we entered the final stage. Since my understanding was that we are not seeking any funding but to expose our product only, and I've been busy on my daily work already, I didn't have much time to prepare for this presentation. The staff of the III that hosted the event were not well-trained or communicated, so I actually spent more time working out problems which they should have done for us than preparing for my presentation. And, things always went wrong when it must not. When I was on stage, my mic went dead, lights turned on fading my projection, and the video folder I was to demo became empty. I was beaten by these little surprises and lost my tempo for the rest of the six minutes.

Okay, the above were my excuses. The truth is, I was not prepared enough to sell my points clearly enough in the six minutes. The product was a complicated concept, and I haven't figured out how to describe the most of its value in one word. Some people confused it with DMA, some people thought it was a web desktop, and I guest nobody really connect the idea with web 2.0 concept.

Sorry, my dear product. It's me that failed, not you.

Don't be upset. You failed this time, and you will succeed next time. You are my hero.
